Keeping Members Connected to Our e-Business Efforts
Begining in March, AmeriNet has focused on interacting
with e-business solution providers, AmeriNet shareholders,
members and trading partners to help develop both
a profile of the e-business solution provider marketplace
and, more importantly, an understanding of our members'
e-business needs.
From these efforts, AmeriNet has developed several
vital e-business principles designed to serve as a
foundation for all future e-business projects:
- AmeriNet will only pursue, adopt, and implement
Internet technologies that provide measurable evidence
of removing cost from the health care suppliy chain.
- AmeriNet will only pursue, adopt, and implement
Internet technologies that are needed and desired
by our healthcare provider members, as well as our
contracted product suppliers. Additionally, AmeriNet
will develop valid e-business solutions between
its members and their trading partners.
- AmeriNet will continue to enrich and expand its
existing Members Only web site to maximize communications
and the flow of information to its healthcare provider
members and will continue to enhance the functionality
of ValuSource Internet (VSI).
- AmeriNet will seek out strategic partners that
provide the best solutions to its existing contract
suppliers and will identify those organizations
that provide seamless electronic integration opportunities
between its members and their trading partners.
- AmeriNet will facilitate the expansion of its
electronic commnication capabilities with its existing
contract suppliers through the enhanced capabilities
of its Members Only web site.
